Hilarious! Buy this book!!!
"This is one of the best humor books I have in my collection! I bought it because I'd heard of the author, that he was funny. I could not put it down!! Some of the stories he shares about his kids and their predicaments felt so true that I called my sister in Cleveland and we laughed our heads off remembering our own youth. If you need a smile, read this book!"

"The 221-page book makes for a charming and easy read for people who like their literature in short bursts. ... Much of the book's content is about mundane occurrences that, through fresh perspective and some self-deprecation, Aylworth turns into interesting and endearing stories. Such is the case with the title entry, 'A Place in the Shower Schedule,' in which the author examines the regimented and sometimes harrowing task of finding time to bathe when a large family has to share a single bathroom."

A Pure Joy
"I received this book as a gift and now I'm getting two more copies to give to others. It is the kind of humor you're not embarrassed to laugh at as Aylworth gives insight into the life of a large family. It's obvious he loves his kids even though they've added to the "silver" (he likes that term better than gray) in his hair. He has chronicled the life of the large family in a way that hits the highlights of hilarity as well as the sentiments of a small child's pure love. This book is a joy."

"[N]ow fans of Aylworth's family humor column can revisit the bouncing brood of seven kids and two parents, and new readers can become fans. . . . Readers will want to shovel in the columns in this warm, wise and wascally book."
